Adventure Routes Built for Two Wheels

Ridgeline is a route planning tool designed for adventure motorcyclists and dual-sport riders. Unlike car navigation apps that stick to tarmac, Ridgeline actively seeks out gravel tracks, forest roads, mountain passes, and fire trails across Europe. Tell it where you want to start and where you want to end up, and it builds a route that makes the journey worth taking, whether that's a weekend loop or a multi-day crossing.

Control Your Surface Mix

Set your preferred surface ratio: from mostly tarmac with occasional gravel sections to pure off-road routing across fire roads and unpaved forest tracks. The surface preference slider lets you dial in exactly how much dirt you want, and the algorithm tries to match your choice across the entire route.

Match the Route to Your Skill

Difficulty settings filter routes by technical demand. Easy keeps you on well-maintained gravel and gentle gradients, ideal for loaded adventure touring. Moderate opens steeper tracks and rougher surfaces. Hard unlocks technical terrain with loose rocks, steep descents, and trails that reward proper off-road experience.

Export and Ride

Export your route as a standard GPX file compatible with Garmin Zumo and Overlander units, TomTom Rider, and smartphone apps. The exported track preserves your full waypoint sequence, so what you planned on screen is exactly what your device navigates. No subscription needed.

Across Europe's Riding Regions

Ridgeline covers Europe's major adventure riding regions. The Alps and Dolomites offer high-altitude passes and gravel connectors. The Pyrenees link France and Spain through mountain tracks. The Balkans hold vast networks of unpaved roads largely unknown to touring riders. Scandinavia provides forest tracks and coastal gravel. We're continuously adding more regions, so stay tuned.
